Notwithstanding, indeed!

I just wrote the following as part of my lecture in Ubiquitous Computing. The personal computing era puts computers at the control of individuals (notwithstanding rootkits, viruses and operating systems that are seemingly unknowable to the 'average' person). I am very amused.

I'm currently writing two exams, two course outlines, weekly lectures for two courses. I've always been fond of the number two, but this is getting ridiculous.
